Today and tomorrow all our secondary Maths staff are off timetable because they will be spending time reviewing our MYP Maths programme. Topics include Understanding AoI’s and Student Inquiry, Vertical and Horizontal Planning, Designing Assessments and Unit Planning. We are very lucky to have Cameron Hall fly here from I-Shou International School, a bilingual international school in Taiwan, to assist us with this workshop. Of course, they will also be looking at the integration of MYP Maths and DP Maths.
Visible evidence that we are life long learners, particularly at this busy time of the year. I hope all goes well, and thanks to the teachers that are covering their lessons for them.
We have a wiki here (password protected) for our Maths staff to use during the sessions.
