This blog is written and maintained by Pak Liam, Secondary School Vice Principal and the Middle Years Programme Coordinator at Global Jaya International School in Jakarta. Bringing almost 20 years of international education experience from Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand and Indonesia, He has been working with the International Baccalaureate since 2000 as a workshop leader, school team evaluation visitor, moderator and examiner. This blog contains general pedagogical musings, teaching resources and information from the IB.

Wow! I used to be a teacher and counselor in middle school. Students were in 7th and 8th grades.
At Global Jaya our middle school is year 7, year 8, year 9 and year 10, they all do the MYP. Provided they pass they all go on to the IB Diploma for year 11 and year 12.
