Museums in Indonesia

“Visits to art, nature and science exhibits are rare as more hours are devoted to studying for required English, math tests. But some venues are adapting their offerings.”

This news article Schools can’t spare time or dimes for field trips got me thinking (and surfing) about what outside resources we use in our teaching at our school….. I recall a science meeting earlier in the year my staff and I were going to put together a list, and I’m not sure what happened. (marking, teaching and report writing, no doubt).

So I found this website click here on museums in the world and they have 162 listed museums in Indonesia! Actually I have added a couple of pics for the Zoological museum in Bogor.

How many local museums do you use in your teaching ?
