GJIS’ Personal Project Grading and Standardizing Timeline

Here is the timeline for the grading of your personal projects and also the standardizing of all personal project grades. (all staff are to be involved)

Week 6  Supervisors grade PP Reports Friday 17th May
Week 7 Standardization Teams grade Friday 24th May
Week 8 Write Reports Friday 31st May
Week 9 Give Feedback to Students Friday 7th June

Week TASK Deadline Explanation
Week 6  Supervisors grade PP Reports Friday 17th May Supervisors grade their students work and send the results and a copy of the grading form to Popy and Liam(download the supervisors grading form from here   There’s also examples of how to mark the work there (and on OCC). Then complete the form and return to B.Popy.

Do not tell the students the grade yet.

Week 7 Standardization Teams grade Friday 24th May Standardizations teams will regrade two pieces of work to check consistency of supervisors grades. Send the grades to Liam and Popy and return the reports.Teams will be announced before and Reports and grading forms will be available for collection by Friday 17th May or download from here

Standardization teams can arrange to meet any time they have free (Exam week)

 

Week 8 Write Reports Friday 31st May Report Writing WeekSupervisors will write a 150 word report comment for the reports and email to Popy and me. Normal report writing conventions and rules apply. (eg: it needs to be proof read by a Principal, you need to write in your best language.)

 

Week 9 Give Feedback to Students Friday 7th June Personal Project FeedbackSupervisors will arrange to meet their students at some stage this week and give feedback to them.

Including a copy of their supervisors form.

 

for new staff, you can follow the powerpoint on how to grade here on portal or check with your mentor/buddy from the start of the year or you can ask Popy or myself for more help.
