Annual IBAP Conference 2014

an update on pre-conference workshops.

Dear IB Coordinators,
The March Pre-Conference workshops start 17 March in Singapore. We have some updates and news for you. Please note timings…these workshops can all be attended BEFORE the Annual Regional Conference starts. Please note that registrations are required  as follows. We will not be able to take registrations at the door.
1)      17-19 March :
·         We have opened two NEW Coordinator WorkshopsMYP Coordinators, cat 1 and DP Coordination, cat 1. These workshops were full and we can now advise that we have additional workshop leaders and therefore additional places. Please register as soon as possible on the links listed below.
2)      19 March:
·         NEW: Academic Honesty in Practice: How many students need guidance in this really important areas of academics. This workshop is directed at  IB Diploma Programme coordinators, TOK teachers and extended essay supervisors, all DP subject teachers and librarians.
·         NEW: Communicating the IB Advantage to your School and your Community using authentic data.  Presented by Andy J Krawczk and Glenn Odland http://www.ibo.org/events/commsgmar14/index.cfm
3)      20 March (8.30am-3.15pm)
·         NEW: Leadership Symposium 20 March: This event is for Heads of Schools. Please can you discuss with your School Head and register as soon as possible as there are only 15 places left for this special event. (see information below). We will not be able to take registrations at the door.
·         NEW: Success for your IB school4 essential practices: Please click here {link to be added ASAP] to read what these 4 essential practices are….this has proven very popular and there are a few places left.
4)      20 March : Conference Starts at 3.30pm
Due to demand, we have extended the registration deadlines to March 3. Please can you review this with your Head of School.
